3P Direct – Goods in Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Goods-in Manager to oversee the efficient management of incoming goods within our packaging warehouse. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all goods are received, inspected, and stored correctly while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This position requires strong leadership skills and a focus on continuous improvement to optimise our supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the goods-in area to ensure the timely and accurate receipt of products.
  • Assist with the management of two drivers, routes, lorry servicing and associated tachographs.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage logistics operations related to incoming goods, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures and supplier non-compliance.
  • Utilise forklift equipment safely for the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Assist with stock taking and monitor profit and loss related to goods-in activities and implement strategies for cost control.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Qualified in Counterbalance or Reach truck.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and their application in logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and their implementation in a warehouse setting.

Boutique Gifts – Gift Decorator

BoutiqueGifts.co.uk is our mail-order personalised gift business. Located at our Mansfield site, we’ve invested heavily in the leading personalisation software, printers and engraving machinery. The website has seen considerable growth as we continue to design and expand our range of quality gifts manufactured inhouse. Our range of personalised gifts includes engraved pens and jewellery. Embossed leather goods, soft toys and ceramics.

We now have a requirement for a Gift Decorator to support our existing manufacturing team. On a daily basis, the successful applicant will be involved in the following:

  • Engraving pens and jewellery
  • Embossing leather wallets
  • Mug printing
  • Dye Sublimation printing
  • Personalising soft toys
  • Engraving glass gifts
  • Applying colour labels to photo gifts such as candles
  • Carefully wrapping and packing our printed despatch boxes
  • Printing courier labels and ensuring the presentation of all the goods despatched are to a high standard.

Full training will be provided. The position would suit someone who enjoys crafts as a hobby or likes assembling nice products. Also, somebody who is practical by nature with a good attention to detail.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm. (45 minute lunch breaks) Evening shift may be required at six weeks peak time leading up to Christmas (1pm to 10pm)

22 days paid holidays plus statutory holidays (8 days)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
